On November 11, 2011, Dennis Michael Omanoff became the Senior Vice President of the World Wide Supply Chain and Procurement for Seagate. He launched systems for customer co-planning and fast execution for the largest OEMs, receiving commitments from the key customer base. The company was grateful for his role in creating a customer value network strategy, which was used to increase profitability, the quality of products, and response to customers. After the Thailand flood, he invested $250 million to restore the supply chain for the HDD industry. He was successful at reviving the industry in only two quarters and implementing a strategy for fulfillment based upon mathematical models employing nonlinear programming and simulations that significantly reduced operating expense by over $400 M as well as lead times. In 1995, Dennis Michael Omanoff moved to StrataCom Communications as a Chief Quality Officer. StrataCom was soon after purchased by Cisco for $4 billion. He assisted the company with the California State Quality Award Application, introducing TQM while also implementing rigorous methods of code inspections and international standards of quality and reliability, leading to increased customer loyalty and a better customer experience. One of the core processes requested by customers that was automated and implemented was Customer Call to Escalation, Assignment to Aggregation, Aggregation to Resolution, Resolution to Close, Close to Process Remediation and Improvement; this became a core strength in customer confidence.
