Dennis Omanoff: A Leader in the Industry

Dennis Omanoff is a successful businessman who has excelled in leadership roles throughout his professional career across defense, networking, telecom, storage, cyber security and in SaaS, Channel, B2B and B2C. He grew up in Harlem and the projects of South Bronx, and worked his way up, becoming a leader of several different successful companies.

Dennis received several prestigious scholarships from the New York Times Guild and the New York State Regents to begin his education at Fordham University, and later at Hofstra Graduate School of Business, gaining permission to do half of his course work in the School of Computer Science and qualifying for competency in Programming and System Analysis with an MBA in Management Science (Operations Research). Upon graduation, he continued his hard work with post-graduate coursework from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and Stanford University. Dennis graduated with honors and immediately entered the field using his technical and business skills, working as an Operations Manager and a Materials Manager. He spent 10 years working in increasingly responsible positions at Texas Instruments, DSEG Avionics, and PCB, learning the business from sand to silicon to complex systems.
 Dennis joined Texas Instruments running what later became the Texas Contract Manufacturing operations of Solectron.

Dennis Omanoff continued to grow as a business professional, gaining leadership experience in multiple industries. His experience led him to understand the inner workings of each company, adding to his overall knowledge of the business world. During his career, he has held many responsibilities in his various positions. Some of the most significant responsibilities he has held include:

• Full P&L responsibility for COGS, capital expenditures and operational expenses
• Global responsibility for 82 company facilities spread across China, Taiwan, Brazil, Ireland, Czech Republic, Poland, Japan, Singapore, and the U.S.
• All operations of multiple companies across Networking, Telecom and CyberSecurity
• Resolving sales issues with engineering achieving deeper Customer Trusted relationships
• Outsourcing engineering services for ECAD, MCAD and Test Labs

He was able to apply all this experience when it came time to own CheyTac USA, LLC. Dennis Omanoff was CEO, a co-owner with 2 private funds and board member of CheyTac USA, LLC and a diligent chief executive officer of the company. In 2016, Mr. Omanoff chose to sell his interest in CheyTac to investors. Mr. Omanoff remains a strong advocate of CheyTac’s vision and core values, but retains the record to-date for profitable operations
